May 1st marks my 2 year anniversary for being surgery free.
To mark this momentous occasion, I wish to dye my hair grey- brain cancer awareness and blue- hydrocephalus awareness.
My story:
When I was 3 years old I was diagnosed with a brain stem tumor. I underwent a drastic surgery to get most of the tumor removed, but due to it's location, the doctors couldn't remove it all. I under went an experimental round of chemotherapy. There, is where I believe I developed hydrocephalus.

or... my body overproduces a fluid that my body also cannot drain properly, therefore, I have a tube under my skin doing it for me that leads to a cavity over my bladder. This makes me pee... A LOT
I've battled hydrocephalus all my life, most recently during my high school year. Starting freshman year I went through 6 surgeries over the next 4 years.
My 6th surgery proved to make some sort of change, and proved to be a success.
Due to my blessing, I cannot live a normal 9-5 life; hence I cam. But that's a post for another day.
Point is-- I'd love for all of your support & help me celebrate this. Hair dye- especially getting it done professionally is NOT cheap!
